Well, it’s been a crazy ride but we are towards the end of the largest part of our trip. If you want to see some video teasers of what we’ve been up to, you can do so at hsmovement.wordpress.com.

Over the last two months, we have been to Mongolia, the Middle East, England, India, Uganda and South Africa. We have encountered so many different cultures and people all over the globe. We have continually been humbled and thankful to have the opportunity to tell the story of what God is doing in churches around the world.

One of the most recent stories we’ve encountered doesn’t involve an unbelievable miracle. Don’t get us wrong, we have encountered stories of people seeing and experiencing the power of God in unbelievable ways. But here in South Africa we heard the story of a woman who has simply been transformed by love. She encountered a people who were different, who lived for something greater. She saw something in them that was attractive, that was peaceful and powerful. She has been loved in a way that is transforming her life. This woman is a person of TREMENDOUS influence in her home country. She has dreams of leading her country one day, which is actually a reality for her because of the influence and position of her family. And because she has encountered the love of God through people, her life is forever altered.

This is a huge part of the story we will tell. That the love of God is the same in every country, every culture. When the people of God love others in the way He loves us, lives are set free. Lives are healed. The miraculous is released and people are made whole. Over and over again we have encountered stories of LOVE. His love is setting lives free through His people.

Thanks for your support and love through this process. As with any project or trip like this, there is a continued need for provision. We are actually still in need of some funding for the remaining few days of this trip and to complete the project. The sum of what we need is around $6,500 to complete the project as planned, which involves a trip to Haiti in August and two US churches in September. If you might be able to support this project financially, you can do so by going to antiochfc.org/give, choosing the mission trips option and writing “Movement” in the memo line.

Thanks for reading, for caring, for praying and supporting. It means the world.
