Becoming a Member

We define a member as a Jesus-follower who personally participates in the 5 Circles of Church and commits their time and tithes to Antioch Waco.

1 Peter 5:2 commands church leaders to "be shepherds of God's flock that is under your care, watching over them." We desire to serve, shepherd and care for our church family in the way God designed and we encourage anyone who calls Antioch home to take that step toward membership.

Membership clarifies who our leadership is accountable for and to, so we can shepherd and care for you well. Becoming a member is your commitment to choosing Antioch as your church home, to grow spiritually in community, serve, give and invest in discipling and living on mission with others in our church body.

Sign Up For New Member's Class

  • Our class is offered once a month and provides you the opportunity to learn more about Antioch Waco and helps with next steps in connecting you to the life of our church through serving, finding a Lifegroup and meeting some of our staff in person. Kids Ministry is provided during this class and light refreshments.

  • Yes, and Lifegroup is central to how we shepherd the church body and help meet the practical needs of everyone in our midst. For our elders to best know and care for you, if you're consistently attending a Lifegroup and Sunday services, we'd encourage you to become a member.

  • Yes, and serving is a core part of spiritual growth and obedience as followers of Jesus. For our elders to best know and care for you, if you're consistently serving with a ministry or one of our ministry partners, we'd encourage you to become a member.
